4-year-old boys are funny

3 things I learned today thanks to Ben:

1. Rocks in the dryer make quite a racket. I'm not even sure when he found these rocks, but I guess I need to start checking his pockets before I do laundry.

2. A box of marbles and wooden floors do not make a good combination. That spill took a while to clean up after and I'm pretty sure there are still marbles under the refrigerator.

3. Tom and Jerry are not very nice to each other. While Ben and Rachel were watching Tom and Jerry and I was doing the dishes I heard Ben say, "That's not nice!" and "You can share Tom!"

Cousins!

Here is a fun picture of the kids with six of their 17 cousins on my side. Joel and the kids came from San Jose for the day and Cherie and the kids came to hang out with us. The cousins had a great time.

Father and Son Campout

Ben was so excited to go camping with Dad on the ward father and son campout. But unfortunately they drove up to the campground, set up the tent and then it proceeded to pour rain. So they took down the tent and came home. Ben was pretty bummed. I tried, unsuccessfully, to console him by reminding him that we were going camping again in a couple of weeks. But then Bryan thought of a way to make it up to him by setting the tent up in our backyard. They slept out back the whole night and Ben was a happy camper.
